ACL26 Travel Notes from San Diego

I flew from San Jose to San Diego for ACL'26, and it happened to be right around the 250th Independence Day celebration.

My first look at SD was the coast, and it was beautiful. People were out for their evening walks, looking relaxed and at ease.

After picking up my badge I went straight to the SD Zoo. I had heard about its reputation for a long time.

The buildings here have a unique style of their own, and they are worth stopping for.

The closing banquet on the aircraft carrier was deeply satisfying and made the trip worth it. We wrapped up this ACL journey facing the evening glow.
